Compulsory Acquisition & Compensation

She works closely with valuers and other experts to ensure compensation claims properly reflect land value, disturbance and other compensable losses.

Negotiated Acquisitions & Settlements
She regularly advises on negotiated purchases and voluntary acquisition arrangements, helping clients achieve fair outcomes while minimising delay and uncertainty. Cait’s approach is evidence-based and focused on achieving practical resolution without unnecessary escalation.

Property & Leasing Matters
Drawing on her broader property law background, Cait had experience advising on property transactions, subdivisions and leasing disputes, including commercial, industrial and retail leases. This grounding strengthens her ability to identify and address property-related issues that arise in acquisition matters.

Easements, Access & Valuation Issues
Cait advises on easement acquisitions, access rights and land valuation issues, including matters where partial acquisitions or access impacts affect the ongoing use and value of land.
